Cannot begin to explain how special the Luggie made my trip. At the airport I was able to set up the scooter with no problem at all and was able to right up to the door of the plane. I was able to get to restaurants, a wedding and other parties with no trouble at all.

I’ve had my Luggie since 2011 and truly love it. I use it mostly when I travel or when I have to walk any distances. I am always happy to share my wonderful Luggie/FreeRider experiences with anyone who asks.

The Luggie not only looks good, but the fully adjustable and fluid hand controls and auto braking feature make it very easy to operate and navigate in tight spaces. It allows you to simply fold it up and store in the trunk of any car, truck or SUV. You have made me a customer for life!

The best decision I ever made, (except marrying my lovely wife). The best money I ever spent. This little machine is as much fun as my first bicycle, but with a motor! I am constantly having people ask me about it, and are amazed at its design.

The Ferrari of Scooters. My husband is enjoying his Luggie so very much. It has opened a world of freedom of movement that couldn't happen without this marvelous machine.

Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IS A LUGGIE SCOOTER?
The Luggie is the world’s first foldable mobility scooter brand, designed for easy travel and everyday independence. Lightweight and compact, it can fold like a suitcase for effortless storage and transport. Performance-wise, every Luggie scooter pushes the boundary of what's possible.
HOW MANY LUGGIE MODELS ARE AVAILABLE?
Currently, there are several Luggie models tailored to different needs — from the medicare-approved lightweight Classic II, to the 22 mile range Super Plus 4 with 360 lbs weight capacity. Each model is built with the same high-quality engineering that has made Luggie the gold standard in electric mobility scooters for 30 years. Learn more about the different Luggie models.
WHERE CAN I BUY A LUGGIE SCOOTER?
You can order directly through the shop or purchase through our network of trusted dealers. While both options include official warranty and product support, you can often find the best promotions and exclusive offers with our dealers. Find a dealer near you here.
ARE LUGGIE SCOOTERS AIRLINE APPROVED?
Yes, most Luggie scooters use FAA-compliant lithium batteries, making the ideal for air travel. Luggie riders often roll all the way up to the plane with their Luggie and either store it inside the cabin (flat or full-fold), or fold it right outside the plane where it will be loaded last, and unloaded first. Like all airline-approved scooters, no matter how you're traveling, the battery is always required to be carried with you on to the plane. FreeRider batteries even come in a travel-ready box that is designed to safely store your battery while you enjoy your flight. We always recommend checking with your airline before flying.
