About FreeRider
Setting the standard in electric mobility engineering since 1992
About US
You won't find anyone more passionate about personal electric vehicles than we are, here at Freerider - our very first vehicle to hit the market, way back in 1995, was born out of love. We have applied that same love and passion to every single vehicle to leave our factory since.
From foldable, compact pavement scooters, to 8 mile per hour road going workhorses, and now even e-Bikes - Freerider has become synonymous with reliability and confidence.
Here, at Freerider Luggie UK, we understand how important it is for people to remain independent and mobile. That’s why we strive to provide quality mobility scooters that offer the perfect blend of convenience, ease of use, and comfort. Our products are designed with the user in mind, providing a safe and reliable ride that can be trusted to get you where you need to go.
We aim to provide the best customer experience possible, with a wide selection of options to choose from and excellent after-sales service - no matter your mobility needs, you can count on Freerider Luggie UK to help you stay on the move.
Our Story
Our Story
Built from one promise. Trusted by thousands.
In the spring of 2008, our founder Mr. Arthur Wang designed for his wife, Juyu, what would become the world’s first folding mobility scooter — the Luggie.
He didn’t care about launching a product. He didn’t care about chasing the latest gimmick. He set out to do things the right way. Using better materials, smarter design and a commitment to never compromise.
That spirit still drives every decision we make today. Our role is to bring that legacy of quality, care, and performance directly to riders, families and resellers across America.
Today over 100,000 riders around the world rely on FreeRider electric scooters to stay connected, travel further, and keep life in motion.

Our Mission & Vision
MISSION
To move people, not just physically, but emotionally. We don’t just build mobility scooters. We provide a service that brings momentum, pride, and possibility to people's lives. Every FreeRider product is an invitation to live boldly, confidently and without compromise. Because motion isn’t just about wheels. It’s about how you show up in the world.
VISION
A world where mobility challenges never interrupt life’s momentum. It’s more than just getting from point A to point B. It’s about showing up with pride. It’s by becoming a person who says “I’ll meet you there”, not “I can’t make it.” Our vision is to make that mindset possible for everyone, everywhere. Because reclaiming independence is just the beginning. What you do with it is the story.
